About
As a boy Neil Jackman always showed an interest in the creative arts studying both Art and Design and Music before leaving education to become a full-time musician, playing bass guitar professionally around the world.
A keen wood-worker, Neil decided to design and create his own musical instrument, an experience that would prove to be a turning point. He enjoyed the experience so much that he went on to hone his skills by training formally as a furniture maker before opening his workshop and showroom close to Sherwood Forest, North Nottinghamshire.
Neil embraces age old techniques as well as modern approaches, allowing him to use his craft in innovative ways to create contemporary furniture that celebrates the great designs of the past.
Commissions
Neil strives to ensure that his pieces are functional, beautiful and crafted in such a way that they will last a lifetime and beyond.
